Daedong Q2 operating profit 41.2 billion won, up 64 percent year on year
Daedong said on Aug. 10 it posted record second-quarter results. Second-quarter revenue rose 12.7 percent from a year earlier to 467.0 billion won, while operating profit climbed 64.3 percent to 41.2 billion won. The operating margin was 8.8 percent. First-half revenue totalled 844.8 billion won and operating profit was 47.2 billion won. The company cited stronger product competitiveness and distribution channels.
