Bitcoin not a sole invention of Satoshi, as 1997 cypherpunk experiments are revisited
Bitcoin is not a standalone invention by Satoshi Nakamoto but a product combining ideas accumulated in the cypherpunk community since the late 1990s, a claim has emerged. Cryptographer and Blockstream CEO Adam Back said Bitcoin’s structure extends collective research dating to 1997, including discussions on proof-of-work money and use of the Hashcash algorithm. He said Satoshi’s achievement was solving double spending and unifying dispersed concepts into an operating protocol.

LG Electronics OLED Hollywood Roadshow wins praise from video professionals
LG Electronics said its OLED TVs have been validated on film production sites in the United States and Europe. The company held the LG OLED Hollywood Roadshow in Los Angeles in May and in London and Munich in June. The events brought together cinematographers and colour specialists, who cited accurate blacks, reduced reflections and strong colour expression. The roadshow focused on the 2026 LG OLED evo AI G6 model.

Netmarble\'s open-world action RPG \'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad\' is set for a PC early release on May 14 and a mobile grand launch on May 21. After about a year of western early access, the company rebuilt its business model, combat system and multiplayer content based on user feedback, creating an Asia version that reworks core systems rather than simple localisation. It removed paid gacha, expanded weapons and added party dungeons, raids and field bosses.
