Water installs 123 chargers at 23 highway rest areas, including 62 400-kW units
Water, Bright Energy Partners\' fast electric vehicle charging network, has started operating a charging station at the Cheongju rest area on the Gyeongbu Expressway in the Seoul-bound direction. It said ultra-fast 400-kW charging is now available at a highway rest area in South Korea for the first time. Water plans to build 123 new chargers at 23 rest areas, including 62 units rated at 400 kW, with more than 10 sites to start operating in October.

SKT pushes 15-GW AI data centres, aims to become Asian hub
SK Telecom plans to build up to 15 gigawatts of AI data centres nationwide, starting in Ulsan. It aims to secure 5 GW domestically and begin phased operations from 2029, then expand to as much as 15 GW by 2035.
