Naver\'s Choi Soo-yeon says dogged diligence is weapon in age of uncertainty
Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon (최수연) told graduates at Seoul National University that “dogged diligence” is the weapon for navigating an era of uncertainty. In a commencement address, she spoke candidly about academic doubts, job rejections and early workplace struggles, and said failures brought unexpected opportunities. She defined “the power to sit” as the ability to keep digging in when others grow bored or anxious. Choi also cited kindness and empathy as core leadership requirements and urged graduates not to stop even when setbacks come.
