KT to run intensive network management ahead of Gwanghwamun Square concert

KT said on March 15 it will operate an intensive network management system to provide stable communications services ahead of a large-scale concert on March 21 at Seoul\'s Gwanghwamun Square. It will deploy 6 mobile base stations and newly build 79 wireless base stations and 14 Wi-Fi units around Gwanghwamun and City Hall squares. KT will also run emergency monitoring and apply its AI-based W-SDN traffic control solution.

KT to launch intensified network monitoring system during Lunar New Year holiday

KT said on Sunday it will operate an intensified network management system from Feb. 13 to 22 to ensure stable telecommunications services during the Lunar New Year holiday. It will conduct advance checks and 집중 monitoring at about 1,200 sites nationwide, including airports, KTX stations, highways and major commercial areas, while running 24-hour situation rooms. KT will also strengthen international communications monitoring, and carry out emergency recovery drills for wildfire and exchange fire response.
