Pago Networks unveils AI-driven security operations strategy
Security firm Pago Networks on Tuesday unveiled a security operations strategy to respond to changes in the security environment in the AI era and said it would introduce three brands. At its Pago Security Summit 2026, the company shared how AI is changing security operations and outlined strategic and technical directions. It said competitiveness is shifting from detecting more threats to judging risk and responding faster and more accurately.

SentinelOne, Fargonetworks launch hybrid MDR to counter AI-driven attacks
SentinelOne and MDR specialist Fargonetworks launched an AI-based joint security operations service called Hybrid MDR, combining SentinelOne\'s Wayfinder Threat Hunting with Fargonetworks\' 24/7 MDR operations. The companies said the model integrates threat hunting using Google Threat Intelligence, monitoring by security analysts, and expansion to NDR and CTEM to improve detection and response, including against unknown zero-day attacks. The service will be offered at no extra cost to customers using Singularity Complete through Fargonetworks.

Google works with FBI to disrupt \'NetNut\' malicious proxy network
Google Threat Intelligence Group said on July 6 it worked with the FBI and industry partners to disrupt NetNut, one of the world’s largest malicious residential proxy networks. It said the proxy network industry is closely interconnected through operators trading botnet resources. Google estimated NetNut infected and controlled at least 2 million devices via the BadBox 2.0 botnet and trojan apps, including many smart TVs and set-top boxes.
