North Korea-linked Lazarus tries to steal cryptocurrency with macOS malware
North Korea-linked hacking group Lazarus has been spotted running a new malware campaign targeting macOS environments, researchers said. The attack used fake video meeting invitations and social engineering to trick victims into running specific commands, enabling malware to download in the background and evade controls. The final stage deployed an information-stealing tool that collected browser data and macOS keychain items and sent them via Telegram. Researchers said targets extended beyond crypto firms to fintech and other companies.

Slack rolls out major upgrade, adds meeting transcription notes and CRM features
Salesforce-owned communications platform Slack has unveiled more than 30 new features as it accelerates a shift from messaging to an AI-based work hub. The update centres on meeting transcription and notes that let Slackbot listen in on meetings in external apps and produce summaries and action items. Slack also introduced Operator Mode, AI Skills and integrations with enterprise apps. It added built-in CRM functions aimed at small and midsize companies.

DeepL says voice translation captions outperform built-in features of Google, Microsoft and Zoom
DeepL said on March 26 that an independent benchmark found its voice translation solution, DeepL Voice, outperformed built-in translation captions on major collaboration platforms such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams and Zoom in both quality and stability. The study, conducted by language AI research firm Slator at DeepL’s request, tested 14 language pairs including Korean-English. In blind evaluations, 96 percent of language experts chose DeepL Voice as their top option.
