KT expands \'talk with TV\' with GenieTV AI agent
KT said on Jan. 15 that GenieTV is being used as a platform for everyday conversations with AI. Analysis of GenieTV AI agent keywords showed voice use shifting from simple commands such as turning on the TV or changing channels to free-form dialogue involving daily questions and emotional expressions. Family-related words appeared repeatedly across age groups. Conversation peaks were 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., with users averaging more than three utterances a day. KT plans to expand availability to about 5 million devices this year.
