Genians Q1 sales up 25.5 percent to 11.74 billion won, operating profit jumps 47-fold

Genians said first-quarter consolidated sales rose 25.5 percent from a year earlier to 11.74 billion won, while operating profit came to 1.74 billion won, more than 47 times higher. Genians launches Genian Home security solution for inter-household home network segmentation

South Korean cybersecurity firm Genians said on Jan. 29 it has officially launched Genian Home, a home network security solution that provides inter-household network segmentation using VPN and VLAN technologies. The company said home networks can affect many households if breached, and risks rise when networks are not separated and smart home devices expand. It said Genian Home can be deployed without changing existing infrastructure and can be applied to new and existing apartment complexes.
