Apptronik opens \'Robot Park\' to speed humanoid training for factories and homes
U.S. humanoid robotics startup Apptronik has unveiled a large training facility called Robot Park, aiming to accelerate commercial use of humanoids by collecting large volumes of real-world data. The 90,000-square-foot site in Austin, Texas, trains its Apollo robot through repeated tasks under teleoperation, operating year-round. CEO Jeff Cardenas (제프 카르데나스) called it a data factory for robot learning. The company has raised about $1 billion and is developing Apollo3.

Google to be AI partner for Korean industry, pushes into manufacturing, platforms and entertainment
Google positioned itself as an AI partner for South Korean industry, outlining plans to expand adoption from manufacturers such as Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor to platforms and media including Kakao and CJ ENM. At a Seoul event, Google Korea CEO Yoon Koo said it would build an AI ecosystem with leading Korean companies. Google also announced an AI skills brand, plans for an AI campus, and showcased robotics and education initiatives using Gemini models.

Google unveils Gemini Robotics ER 1.6 AI model for robots
Google has unveiled Gemini Robotics ER 1.6, a robot-focused AI model with stronger visual, spatial and physical reasoning. The model is designed to understand surroundings, call search tools and handle complex instructions such as counting objects and finding items that fit in a cup. It can infer spatial states like whether a door is open and use external functions alongside vision-language-action models. Google said analog gauge reading improved and safety constraints are better observed.
