Evernode reworks Nasdaq listing terms as XRP nears $1

Evernode Holdings, a crypto treasury company backed by Ripple, has revised the terms of a Nasdaq listing worth more than $1 billion to reflect XRP\'s price decline, U.Today reported. The firm redesigned its SPAC merger structure to link valuation to XRP\'s volume-weighted average price at closing rather than a fixed assumption. It will keep a $10 share issue price but reduce shares issued and increase XRP backing per share. Investors and partners approved the changes.

Corporate restructuring scheme opens path for mid-sized, SMEs into advanced industries

More mid-sized and small companies are entering advanced industries using South Korea’s corporate restructuring scheme. The Industry Ministry panel approved 31 firms in three rounds from December to July, with plans to invest 439.5 billion won over five years and hire 927 people. Many shift existing process technologies into new markets such as semiconductor glass substrates, AR modules and EV components. The ministry is offering investment-attraction consulting, while petrochemicals pursue capacity cuts through separate restructuring projects.

Ripple CEO says perfection must not block progress, urges U.S. Congress to pass Clarity Act

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse urged the U.S. Congress to pass the digital asset market Clarity Act, saying lawmakers should not delay action even with political differences. He backed Ripple CLO Stuart Alderoty’s view that the bill is a consumer protection measure with anti-money laundering and customer identification provisions and tools for law enforcement. Some Democratic senators oppose the latest draft, reducing prospects for passage this year. Coinbase also urged a Senate vote.
