A2Z begins pilot operation of GM1 self-driving bus in Gwangmyeong
Autonomous A2Z said on Tuesday it began pilot operations of its GM1 self-driving bus in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province. The bus will run free on a 24-km round trip route linking Cheolsan Station, KTX Gwangmyeong Station and Gwangmyeong Cave until year-end. The service uses one Hyundai County EV-based electric bus seating 14. The company also deployed roadside lidar infrastructure and will run the bus twice daily, Wednesday to Sunday.
