Fully remote workers report higher job satisfaction than hybrid and office-based staff, study shows
Fully remote workers report higher job satisfaction than hybrid staff and those working fully in the office, a study found. Researchers analysed 7,704 employees at a medical institution and measured satisfaction, workplace connection and turnover. Fully remote staff had the highest average satisfaction score, followed by hybrid and fully in-office employees. Differences in workplace connection and actual turnover rates a year later were small and not statistically significant. Higher satisfaction was linked to lower turnover risk.

A study found that women who stay awake late, described as having a night-owl pattern, were linked to higher body fat and metabolic indicators. The research, published in Frontiers, analysed data from 287 New Zealand women of European and Pacific ethnicity aged 18 to 45. Evening-type participants consumed more late-night food and had higher BMI and fat measures. Blood markers such as glucose and triglycerides were also higher, though generalisation is limited.

NCSoft still undervalued despite earnings rebound; spotlight on Aion2 global launch
NCSoft is expected to extend earnings improvement in the second quarter on the back of Lineage Classic’s strong performance, wider direct payments and consolidation of JustPlay, analysts say. The market consensus calls for 681.2 billion won in revenue and 129.4 billion won in operating profit. Despite the rebound, securities firms put its forward 12-month PER at around 11. Investors are focused on whether Aion2’s September global release will prompt a valuation re-rating.
