Mitsubishi unveils 459-hp electric SUV ASX VR-e

Mitsubishi Motors has unveiled the ASX VR-e, a high-performance electric SUV with 459 horsepower and a 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.9 seconds. The model was developed with Foxtron, part of Taiwan’s Foxconn group, and will be built by Taiwan automaker Yulon Motor. The top GSR trim uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system and a 57.7-kWh LFP battery, with fast-charging support up to 134 kW.

Demand spreads for integrated automotive SoCs combining driving and cockpit functions

Demand is rising for high-performance automotive system-on-chip processors used in domain controllers that handle driver assistance and cockpit functions. As automakers consolidate function-specific electronic control units into domain controllers and central computers, each chip must process more computing workloads.
