Nvidia acts as matchmaker for data centres in Nordics

Nvidia is reported to be helping connect companies that have secured its graphics processing units with data centre operators in Northern Europe, supporting AI infrastructure deals. Sources said it has sounded out Nordic operators and sought customers willing to pre-commit to buying or leasing capacity, sometimes without naming specific clients. CFO Colette Kress acknowledged some involvement in June, citing efforts to help secure land, power and buildings.

Tesla rejects Swedish union demands as 1,021-day strike ends

Sweden\'s largest industrial union IF Metall will halt a 1,021-day strike against Tesla, ending nearly three years of industrial action after the automaker refused to sign a Swedish-style collective agreement. The union said continuing the strike had become ineffective as Tesla effectively phased out participating members. NATO to build shared satellite network HALO with eight member states

NATO has formalised plans for a shared satellite network to strengthen military communications, surveillance and missile tracking. The alliance unveiled the HALO project at a NATO summit defence industry forum in Ankara, involving Denmark, Canada, Finland, Germany, Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden and Turkey. HALO aims to link national satellite systems into a single framework while countries keep ownership and control. NATO says existing dispersed networks are vulnerable and too slow for large data.
