XRP price stagnates as ETF, whale and institutional metrics hit record highs
XRP has shown no clear direction for months, but ETF inflows, whale wallet accumulation and Ripple’s institutional expansion are setting records, a report said. Digital Ascension Group Chairman Jake Claver said adoption- and institution-linked metrics were strengthening regardless of price. XRP spot ETFs logged their strongest weekly inflows of the year in mid-May, while large holders increased balances. Ripple also expanded institutional infrastructure through acquisitions and partnerships.

Anchorage Digital has integrated Marinade Finance into its platform to support Solana staking for institutional clients. The move allows clients to stake within Anchorage Digital’s custody and wallet infrastructure without transferring assets to an external application. Institutions can access Marinade staking strategies via the Anchorage platform and the self-custody wallet Porto through a single interface that also provides staking, custody and asset management functions.

Ripple expands institutional custody, integrating staking and security
Ripple is strengthening security and staking support for financial institutions as part of a broader push to expand its digital-asset custody business, Cointelegraph reported on Tuesday. The company upgraded its institutional custody platform with partners SecurOSys and Figment. The upgrade adds on-premise and cloud-based hardware security module options, allowing institutions to manage cryptographic keys and support staking on networks such as Ethereum and Solana without operating their own validators.
