Equinix to expand AI infrastructure connectivity, backs FuriosaAI global push
Equinix is working with South Korean AI chipmaker FuriosaAI to expand the AI ecosystem. FuriosaAI has deployed servers based on its second-generation AI accelerator, Renegade, at an Equinix data centre in Lisbon, Portugal, to support overseas market entry. The companies are reviewing broader cooperation in South Korea as FuriosaAI pursues mass production of 100,000 accelerator cards. Equinix is also expanding its distributed AI hub strategy and has unveiled Fabric Intelligence to automate network operations.
