KB Financial included in FTSE4Good global ESG index for 16th straight year
KB Financial Group has been included in the FTSE4Good Index Series, a global ESG index, for the 16th consecutive year. KB Financial said on Aug. 21 it has been selected for the index’s constituents since 2011, based on an assessment by FTSE Russell. In the latest review, it scored above the industry average across environment, social and governance categories. The group said it has also maintained ratings from MSCI, the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and CDP.

Ex-Elon ETFs launched excluding Tesla and SpaceX
Two exchange-traded funds excluding companies linked to Elon Musk have been registered in the United States. ETF manager Subversive Capital launched two “Ex-Elon” products that keep a Nasdaq 100 and S&P 500 large-cap structure but remove Tesla and SpaceX from inclusion. The funds are designed to block exposure to those companies. Filings say they seek capital gains from broad U.S. large-cap exposure while excluding stakes in firms founded, controlled, led or primarily associated with Musk.

ETH and SOL treasury firms Sharplink, Forward set to join Russell indexes
Two U.S.-listed companies holding Ethereum and Solana as core assets have been placed on a preliminary list for inclusion in Russell indexes. CoinPost reported Sharplink and Forward Industries are set to join the Russell 2000 and Russell 3000 on June 29. Sharplink holds 868,699 ether worth about $1.8 billion, while Forward’s Solana holdings were put at about $585 million. Executives said index inclusion could broaden their shareholder base and improve liquidity.
