MSIT attends Korea-ASEAN digital ministerial meeting to boost AI, digital cooperation
South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT will attend the fifth Korea-ASEAN Digital Ministers’ Meeting in Hanoi on Jan. 15-16 with Lee Do-gyu as chief representative, to push stronger AI and digital cooperation. The meeting will review progress of the Korea-ASEAN Digital Innovation Flagship and seek support to accelerate a data common ecosystem and AI convergence projects. The ministry will also work on cybersecurity and AI safety initiatives and discuss cooperation with Vietnam’s FPT.
