Samsung Display, LG Display unveil next-generation OLED technologies at IMID
Samsung Display and LG Display showcased next-generation OLED technologies at IMID 2026 in Busan on Aug. 19, unveiling advances such as a wide-view foldable OLED and a large stretchable display. LG Display introduced FLiPP, a maskless pixel patterning method that it said improves aperture ratio and can raise brightness, extend lifespan or cut power use. Both companies won IMID’s display awards, and Samsung Display presented 57 technical papers.
