LG Energy Solution expands European ESS partnership up to 4.5 GWh
LG Energy Solution will enter large-scale projects in Europe’s energy storage system market. The company said it signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Israel-based renewable energy firm Energix in Seoul to cooperate on ESS projects in Europe and North America. The partners aim to supply a total of 2 GWh within 24 months, and will consider increasing overall supply to 4.5 GWh via their European and U.S. units.
