Samsung Electronics expands spatial signage lineup with 32-inch model
Samsung Electronics on April 28 launched a new 32-inch glasses-free 3D display under its Spatial Signage lineup. The model uses the company’s 3D Plate technology to create depth without dedicated glasses and adds a smaller option after an 85-inch model released earlier this year. Samsung also added new functions to its commercial display management platform, Samsung VXT, including an AI Studio app, scheduling tools and smart downloading.

Four major financial groups\' Q1 results split as AI, digital finance spread
South Korea\'s financial sector has entered the first-quarter earnings season, with non-interest income and non-bank units driving diverging results among major financial holding companies. KB Financial Group, Shinhan Financial Group and Hana Financial Group posted record results, while Woori Financial Group recorded a decline. Strong stock markets lifted securities firms\' earnings, and new savings and investment products were launched. The industry is also accelerating a shift toward AI and digital finance, alongside calls for stronger controls and risk management.

Hana Financial Group wins Edison Award for AI audio broadcast for visually impaired
Hana Financial Group said on Sunday its AI audio broadcast service for visually impaired sports fans, Alive CAST, won the Entertainment and Design category at the 2026 Edison Awards. The group developed the service with K League Assist. Alive CAST delivers real-time descriptions of key moments at football matches to help visually impaired spectators follow play and atmosphere. Hana plans official rollout in Daejeon by late May and expansion from July.
