LG Electronics launches 2026 LG Gram with Exaone
LG Electronics has launched new laptops for its 2026 LG Gram lineup, applying Aero Aluminium used in the aerospace industry. The company said the material boosts durability while keeping the devices ultra-lightweight. The models include LG Gram Pro AI 17-inch and 16-inch, LG Gram Pro 360 AI 16-inch, LG Gram AI 15-inch and 14-inch, and LG Grambook AI 16-inch and 15-inch, to be released in stages.

LG AI Research says K-EXAONE proprietary AI model tops benchmark
LG AI Research on Jan. 11 unveiled its proprietary AI foundation model K-EXAONE, saying it consolidates five years of foundation model technology and reduces memory and compute needs by 70 percent versus EXAONE 4.0. LG said K-EXAONE scored 72 points on average across 13 benchmarks in the first round of a government project evaluation and posted 97.83 points on KGC-SAFETY. It will offer the K-EXAONE API free until Jan. 28.

LG Electronics unveils 2026 LG Gram with aerospace material and in-house AI
LG Electronics is rolling out its 2026 LG Gram lineup using a new aerospace-grade alloy called Aerominum and an in-house AI model to bolster durability and intelligence. The company will debut the LG Gram Pro AI 2026 at CES 2026 on Jan. 6 in Las Vegas. The model includes LG AI Research’s EXAONE 3.5 for on-device AI functions such as file search and summarisation, and offers expanded connectivity and security features.
