Einride driverless electric trucks run in U.S. logistics operations
Swedish autonomous technology company Einride has put driverless autonomous electric trucks without a driver’s seat into real freight transport in the United States. In Marysville, Ohio, it is operating 2 Level 4 autonomous electric trucks that shuttle daily between EASE Logistics warehouses. The trucks drive on designated routes without a driver, while a remote operator monitors operations and can intervene. The companies began shipments in September and are collecting operational data.
