Franchises ride Dubai chewy cookie craze, step up sales ahead of Lunar New Year holiday
Franchise brands are expanding sales of so-called Dubai chewy cookies as they target demand ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday. Brands including Paris Baguette, Starbucks and Dunkin are increasing the number of stores carrying the items and launching related drinks and desserts. Starbucks has rolled out two iced Dubai chocolate beverages nationwide. SPC Group brands are diversifying offerings, while convenience stores and coffee chains are also releasing Dubai-style products.
