KakaoGames said on Monday it operates employee benefits tailored to major points in the year, including the start of the school year and the year-end. Since 2017 it has provided annual gifts for employees’ children entering school, and this year delivered items for prospective primary school students while giving department store vouchers for older students. It also provides seasonal gifts and offers support for pregnancy and childbirth. The company was named a 2024 work-life balance firm.

Franchise brands are expanding sales of so-called Dubai chewy cookies as they target demand ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday. Brands including Paris Baguette, Starbucks and Dunkin are increasing the number of stores carrying the items and launching related drinks and desserts. Starbucks has rolled out two iced Dubai chocolate beverages nationwide. SPC Group brands are diversifying offerings, while convenience stores and coffee chains are also releasing Dubai-style products.

KakaoPay is holding a \"Keep Your Sanity Workshop\" event during the Lunar New Year holiday to support users\' financial lives in 2026. The event is inspired by the coinage \"cost of keeping your sanity,\" meaning spending for mental health such as stress relief. From Feb. 11, users who visit KakaoPay\'s spending analysis service can enter a draw for a limited-edition kit including a workbook and goods made with brand CAPO.
