Nanoclo developer raises $12 million after rejecting $20 million acquisition offer
Nanoclo developer Nanoco raised $12 million in a seed round, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday. The company had received an acquisition offer of about $20 million after launching the project, but rejected it and chose to remain independent. The round was led by Valley Capital Partners, with participation from Docker, Vercel, Monday.com, Slow Ventures, Hugging Face CEO Clem Delangue and others.

Cafe24 launches OpenClo VPS, saying anyone can build AI agents
Cafe24 said on April 8 it launched an OpenClo virtual private server hosting service with the OpenClo AI agent framework preinstalled. The company said users can connect major large language models within minutes and build and run personalised AI agents without complex coding or server expertise. OpenClo links to more than 20 messaging channels and more than 30 language models. Cafe24 said it streamlined setup to three steps and will continue upgrading the service.

Darknet selling deepfake tools to bypass KYC, threatening finance and crypto platforms
Fraud tools that use AI deepfakes and real-time voice alteration to bypass know-your-customer checks on financial platforms are being sold on the darknet, Cointelegraph reported. Dark Web Informer said a seller known as Jinkusu offers tools to deceive KYC systems at banks and crypto platforms. Vecert Analyzer said the tool uses real-time face swaps via InsightFace and voice changes to evade biometric authentication.
