Naver Pay strengthens cooperation with iM Bank to boost local currency use
Naver Pay said on Jan. 14 it is expanding cooperation with iM Bank to help revitalise local currencies and improve payment convenience. It will begin taking applications for its Npay Connect offline integrated terminal at iM Bank branches. The two have cooperated since 2024 to support local currencies including Daeguro Pay and the Pohang Love Card. They plan broader deployment in Daegu and Pohang and to jointly run guidance and promotion channels for local merchants.
