Clay raises $115 million for B2B sales and marketing AI, valuation more than doubles in a year
B2B sales and marketing AI startup Clay has raised $115 million and will be valued at $7.1 billion, the New York Times reported. The round was led by Wellington Management, with Sequoia Capital, a16z Perennial, DST Global and Alphabet’s CapitalG also participating. Clay has focused on autonomous AI agents over the past year. CEO Karim Amin said annualised revenue this quarter will reach about $200 million.

Mistral raises 3 billion euros led by Samsung Electronics
French AI company Mistral said on Tuesday it raised 3 billion euros in a Series D funding round led by Samsung Electronics. The investment valued Mistral at more than 21 billion euros. EQT’s Scaleup Europe Fund and existing investor PSG Equity joined as co-lead investors. Advent, BlackRock-managed funds and accounts, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg joined as new investors. Mistral plans to use the funds for AI R&D, computing infrastructure, product development and global expansion.

Anthropic raises $65 billion in Series H round, valuation rises to $965 billion
Anthropic raised $65 billion in a Series H funding round, lifting its valuation to $965 billion. TechCrunch reported the fundraising is likely to be the company’s last financing before an IPO. The round was co-led by Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks, Sequoia Capital, Capital Group, Coatue and D1 Capital Partners, with other institutional investors participating. Samsung, SK Hynix and Micron also joined. Anthropic said it will use the funds to expand safety and interpretability research, increase computing and expand products and partnerships.
