Small Hyundai EV spotted in India, could be called Ioniq P
Hyundai Motor is considering the name Ioniq P for an affordable electric SUV under development for India, aiming to boost price competitiveness through local production. The company mentioned plans to introduce Ioniq P after the new Bayon, although its Indian unit has not confirmed the name. A prototype using the code HE1i has been spotted near Chennai and in South Korea. Hyundai also plans major model rollouts and investment tied to India.
