MrBeast becomes first YouTube creator to top 500 million subscribers
U.S. YouTuber MrBeast became the first individual creator in YouTube history to surpass 500 million subscribers. He revealed the milestone during a livestream on June 12. Jimmy Donaldson, who began posting videos in 2012 at age 13, has uploaded more than 980 videos and amassed over 129 billion views. YouTube posted a congratulatory message on its official blog. MrBeast’s lead over other large channels has widened.
