Thomson Reuters expands enterprise AI on Snowflake
Snowflake said on Tuesday that Thomson Reuters will build an enterprise AI and data platform on its platform. The company said Thomson Reuters has used Snowflake since 2021 to integrate enterprise governance and security capabilities with scalable data infrastructure. More than 1,500 employees access governed data through Snowflake. Thomson Reuters is also modernising legacy systems using Snowflake’s coding agent CoCo.

Pulmuone’s supply chain management executive Ahn Soon-sik (안순식) said the food company is applying AI on Snowflake’s platform to build an SCM intelligence project and that creating AI-ready data is critical. He said short shelf life makes demand errors costly and overseas operations add complexity. Pulmuone spent over six months cleansing and standardising data and built a two-layer knowledge base. Internal tests showed AI analysis matched Snowflake data, and a modelling shift was completed in three weeks using Coco.

Snowflake CoWork evolves into personal AI agent, expands beyond analytics to execution
Snowflake unveiled new features for its AI agent CoWork and introduced Cortex Training, a model training service. At its annual Snowflake Summit 26 in the United States, the company presented CoWork updates aimed at business users, adding capabilities that go beyond analytics to support execution. The core is Cortex Sense, a shared context layer that integrates data, business definitions and operational knowledge for both CoWork and its coding agent CoCo. Snowflake also launched new CoWork apps and extensions.
