Meta to deploy millions of AWS Graviton CPUs to handle AI agent workloads
Meta has signed a deal to adopt millions of Graviton CPUs developed by Amazon Web Services, TechCrunch reported on April 24. Graviton is an Arm-based CPU, and demand for CPUs is rising as AI agents handle compute-intensive tasks such as real-time inference, coding, search and multistep coordination after model training. Amazon also has its Trainium AI GPUs, and Anthropic secured significant volumes after committing to spend $100 billion on AWS over 10 years.

Wiz under Google evolves into security graph-based multi-cloud security platform
Google Cloud-linked security company Wiz confirmed a direction to position itself as a core player in multi-cloud security at the Cloud Next 2026 event, Techzine reported. Wiz highlighted an expansion of the Wiz Security Graph, adding support for Databricks and agent studio platforms including AWS AgentCore, Gemini Enterprise, Microsoft Azure Copilot Studio and Salesforce Agentforce. It also integrated with Cloudflare, Akamai, Vercel and Google Cloud Apigee.
