Naver Cloud launches fully managed serverless DB service
Naver Cloud said on Monday it launched Cloud DB Serverless, a serverless cloud database service that automatically adjusts computing resources based on database usage. The company said the service combines container-based serverless architecture with auto-scaling of CPU, memory and storage in line with traffic and a usage-based billing structure to support cost reductions. It said it applied two proprietary patents for the launch and plans to expand the service to public regions and strengthen open-source database support.
