Anthropic expands startup support, offers Claude Team free for a year

Anthropic is expanding its startup support program, offering qualified companies free access to Claude Team for 1 year and $1,000 in API credits. The revamp was unveiled at an Anthropic SF Tech Week event, TechCrunch reported on Oct. 6. Selected companies will receive up to 5 premium seats, access to the Claude Marketplace and consultations through virtual office hours with Anthropic’s applied AI team.

Anthropic adds always-on \'Claude tag\' AI teammate to Slack

Anthropic has launched an always-on AI teammate feature called Claude Tag on Slack in a research preview, TechCrunch reported. The feature is available to Claude Enterprise and Claude Team customers and lets users tag @Claude in channels to get insights or assign tasks. Claude Tag continuously remembers channel conversations and work history so it can follow earlier context. Administrators control what tools, information and channels it can access.
