Polymarket says Kalshi inflated esports trading volume 26-fold
A dispute over trading volume between Polymarket and Kalshi is intensifying. A Polymarket team member, Shampoo, accused Kalshi of manipulating API data to inflate trading volume in its esports category. He said Kalshi displayed total volume of $1.7 billion, while the combined actual volume across subcategories was about $63 million. He also flagged separate listings for CS:GO and CS2 as double counting. Kalshi previously raised similar claims about Polymarket.
