Samsung Electronics sees NAND, foundry join AI-driven profit engines
Samsung Electronics is seeing a shift in profit drivers in its memory business as NAND flash and its contract chipmaking unit gain traction on AI demand, following record quarterly results led by HBM and DRAM. The company says it has completed mass-production preparations for high-performance Gen6 NAND storage and received positive early customer feedback. It also says talks with multiple large AI HPC customers on its 2-nanometre process are active, with expectations of visible results soon.

Zero Networks unveils AI segmentation feature to control autonomous agents
Zero Networks has launched an AI Segmentation feature designed to control enterprise AI agents based on identity and block AI-enabled lateral movement in networks, SiliconANGLE reported. The company said rising use of AI agents is exposing security gaps, including lack of controls over access to sensitive systems, faster lateral movement driven by AI attacks and compliance operations that cannot keep pace with change. The feature includes lateral-movement controls, agent monitoring and a compliance and risk engine.

Nongshim targets overseas sales share of at least 60 percent by 2030
Nongshim is speeding up efforts to raise the share of overseas sales to at least 60 percent by 2030, tightening management of its core North American market while expanding into new markets. The company plans to set up a sales unit in Moscow in June. Overseas unit sales rose 8.4 percent last year to 1.25 trillion won, accounting for 38.5 percent of total sales, though North America slipped 1.5 percent.
