LG Uplus adopts Rocky Linux
LG Uplus is adopting Rocky Linux from CIQ to improve the cost structure of its enterprise Linux environment. CIQ said LG Uplus will also receive technical support. Rocky Linux is open source and can be downloaded and used for free, while CIQ provides paid subscription consulting and support services. LG Uplus said it chose Rocky Linux after renewal costs for its existing enterprise Linux licences rose by up to threefold in recent years.
