Tesla offers free access to 10 Kyushu Superchargers after Kumamoto earthquake
Tesla will temporarily offer free access to 10 Supercharger sites in Japan\'s Kyushu region after a powerful earthquake struck Kumamoto prefecture with a maximum seismic intensity of 7. Tesla Charging, the company’s official charging account, said the sites will be free to use from July 29 through 0000 on Aug. 5. The locations span five prefectures, including six in Fukuoka. Japan has 150 stations and 744 chargers as of end-May 2026.
