LG Uplus upgrades Busan urban rail train Wi-Fi with 5G
LG Uplus said on April 15 it will upgrade Wi-Fi services on Busan Urban Railway trains to a 5G-based system to improve wireless internet use. The company will switch the Wi-Fi network operated by Busan Transportation Corp from LTE to 5G and apply LG Uplus 5G backhaul in the 3.5 GHz band. Some trains are running pilot service, with expansion to all lines planned within the year.
