Public-private deepfake response R&D working group launched
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT on Wednesday formed a Deepfake Response R&D Working Group and held its first meeting to prevent and respond to deepfake 피해. The meeting reviewed progress on deepfake-related R&D, cooperation plans and ways to verify and spread results. ‘Data peace-of-mind option’ reshapes 5G plans, but market remains sceptical

Media complex revamps to centralise support for young creators
South Korea’s Creator Media Complex has completed a revamp, shifting from providing simple creation space to strengthening incubation for corporate-style one-person media businesses. Broadcasting and Communications Commission Chairman Kim Jong-cheol said it will reinforce its role as a media startup hub spanning entrepreneurship and industry ecosystems. The complex, now in Magok, expanded capacity to 40 firms. It offers offices and up to 80 free studio uses a year for eligible startups, with residency up to 2 years.
