Media complex revamps to centralise support for young creators
South Korea’s Creator Media Complex has completed a revamp, shifting from providing simple creation space to strengthening incubation for corporate-style one-person media businesses. Broadcasting and Communications Commission Chairman Kim Jong-cheol said it will reinforce its role as a media startup hub spanning entrepreneurship and industry ecosystems. The complex, now in Magok, expanded capacity to 40 firms. It offers offices and up to 80 free studio uses a year for eligible startups, with residency up to 2 years.
