CrowdStrike CTO to launch cyber venture fund Cognition, betting on AI-driven security reshuffle
CrowdStrike global chief technology officer Eliya Zaytsev is leaving the company to launch a new venture fund, Cognition, Axios reported on Aug. 20. The fund is targeting $170 million. Zaytsev is founding Cognition with Gur Talpaz and Taylor Shifrin, who previously worked in CrowdStrike’s corporate development team and went on to start early-stage fund Brightmind. Cognition plans to lead or co-lead seed and Series A rounds.
