South Korea discusses emissions-cut goals at U.N. climate meeting
South Korea attended the 64th session of the subsidiary bodies to the U.N. climate convention (SB64) to discuss responses to the climate crisis, including national emissions-cut targets. Government ministries and agencies joined the meeting in Bonn, Germany. Participants discussed clean energy transition and electrification, and laid groundwork for talks ahead of COP31 in November in Antalya, Turkey. The delegation also highlighted NDC reporting and transparency support for developing countries.
