Satoshi 1.1 million bitcoin holdings claim revisited, still only circumstantial evidence
Whether about 1.1 million bitcoin mined in the early days were actually held by Satoshi Nakamoto still rests on circumstantial evidence. On-chain analysis strongly points to early large-scale mining activity, but it has not proved the miner was Satoshi. The debate resurfaced after 600 bitcoin mined in March 2010 moved for the first time in 16 years.
