Tom Lee, who controls 4.9% of global ETH supply, is also optimistic on U.S. small caps

Tom Lee, chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, put weight on the possibility of a rebound in U.S. small-cap stocks. Blockchain nears institutional readiness; tokenisation to drive growth

Senior figures in the Ethereum ecosystem said blockchain technology is approaching a level where institutions can gain confidence, and that asset tokenisation and the spread of artificial intelligence could help blockchain become a core financial infrastructure. Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin said both technical maturity and regulatory clarity are improving and that institutions need not choose only public or private blockchains. Tom Lee said finance and AI settlement infrastructure could be built on Ethereum, with tokenisation and AI agents key drivers.

Ark Invest sells large stake in spot bitcoin ETF, also trims Circle and Coinbase

Asset manager Ark Invest cut its exposure to major crypto-linked assets on Sept. 14, selling 1,528,953 shares of the ARK-21Shares spot bitcoin ETF ARKB, worth about $40 million at the close. It also sold 142,350 shares of Circle worth about $13.8 million and 36,628 shares of Coinbase for about $7 million. Ark also sold shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies and Bullish. All three main assets closed higher.
