National Bio Innovation Committee launches three councils to speed policy drive
South Korea\'s National Bio Innovation Committee has launched three councils to gather policy demand and on-the-ground views in the bio sector. The committee formed a private council, a public research institution council and a data council, and held their first meetings. It plans to collect opinions across the bio industry and connect them to policy tasks and projects. Vice chair Won Hee-mok called the launch a first step to link the field more closely with policy.

Mgame holds 2026 vision briefing, unveils lineup including \'ProjectZ\'
Mgame said on March 20 it held a “2026 Vision Briefing” at its headquarters on March 19 and unveiled plans to expand its existing games business and a roadmap for new businesses. It will update live titles including “Yulgang Online” and “Knight Online” and introduced the multiplatform RPG “ProjectZ.” It also plans new RPG launches, a web3-focused subsidiary, an AI and robot commerce platform, and a senior healthcare monitoring platform.

Presentations covered the domestic biotech startup landscape, AI-driven drug discovery and the need for robotics-based autonomous laboratories. Participants flagged weak research data standardisation, limits in managing training-data quality, regulatory ambiguity and poor access to experimental infrastructure.
