KT says end-to-end AX capabilities will support shift to smart defence and military service administration
KT said it is stepping up support for digital transformation in military service administration and defence. It said officials from the Military Manpower Administration recently visited KT’s Innovation Hub in Seoul to discuss applying AI transformation technologies. The two sides reviewed end-to-end AX cases verified in industry and shared plans to upgrade services using AI and to operate stable communications infrastructure. KT said defence work requires high security, complex procedures and large-scale data processing.

KT holds customer listening forum in remote areas, runs AI training for elementary students
KT held a travelling customer listening forum in remote and island areas and provided hands-on artificial intelligence training for elementary school students. The company said the forum is part of its KT Customer Protection 365 task force launched in April to strengthen a companywide customer value protection system. The third event was held on June 17 at Okdong Elementary School in Yeongwol, Gangwon Province, following sessions for young people in April and senior customers in May.
