Srinivasan opened a resident startup community and relaunched his Network School at the Astana Hub. Binance founder Changpeng Zhao visited and the firm signed three agreements with the government. Telegram opened its first local office and an AI institute. Kazakhstan has introduced new visas and pursued immigration reforms, amid mention of some figures’ regulatory troubles elsewhere.

Coinbase pilots in-house AI agents
Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has begun a pilot of in-house artificial intelligence agents to support internal work, accelerating an organisation-wide shift to an \"AI-native\" environment. CEO Brian Armstrong said the company is integrating AI agents into Slack and email and has already deployed two agents modelled on former executives. One is based on co-founder Fred Ehrsam, and another on former CTO Balaji Srinivasan.

War risk in the Gulf has raised concern about dollar shortages, and UAE officials have discussed possible financial backstops with the United States. Iran is reported to have imposed yuan-denominated passage fees in the Strait of Hormuz and has also signalled possible use of bitcoin-based fees.
