Shinhan Financial to expand financial cooperation with Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, strengthen Central Asia network
Shinhan Financial Group is expanding its Central Asia financial network by signing agreements with government and state-owned financial institutions in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The group said it signed deals on Sept. 14 to 15 with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade and Kazakhstan’s state development finance group Baiterek. In Uzbekistan, the parties will pursue up to $200 million in funding support and discuss joint investment projects and project financing.
