Baemin moves up Chuseok settlement payouts of 36.7 billion won by up to 5 days
Woowa Brothers, operator of Baedal Minjok, said on Monday it will pay about 36.7 billion won in settlement funds early to partner merchants ahead of the Chuseok holiday running from Sept. 24 to 27. The early payout covers all partners using its food services, including store delivery, Baemin delivery and pickup, as well as commerce services such as Baemin grocery and shopping and Baemin Store. Funds due on Sept. 28 will be deposited on Sept. 23.

Baemin Grocery & Shopping posts record monthly results in December, orders up 15.4 percent
Woowa Brothers, operator of Baedal Minjok, said its Baemin Grocery & Shopping service posted its best-ever monthly results in December. Total orders rose 15.4 percent from the previous month and new customers increased 30 percent, while Baemin B-Mart new customers climbed 33 percent. Monthly visitors reached about 5.63 million, up 30 percent from a year earlier. Sales rose across key grocery items, and reserved delivery usage increased in early January.

Majang Livestock Market joins Baemin grocery and shopping service
Woowa Brothers-operated Baedal Minjok said on Tuesday that vendors at Seoul\'s Majang Livestock Market have begun selling through its Grocery & Shopping service from Dec. 17. Seven sellers joined and orders are available across most of Seoul, excluding some districts. Items are delivered via quick service with delivery fees capped by distance. Baemin is also running promotions through Jan. 31, including fixed delivery-fee caps and discount coupons.
